The DashDAQ: A compact computer display gauge measuring 4.6" (118mm) wide x 2.75" (70mm) x 1" (25mm), which connects to the OBDII port using the cable supplied-most year 2000 vehicles on: *SEE FOOT NOTE. Turn on the ignition & it automatically connects to you cars internal computer to display data in a choice of graphical gauges.

Design Themes & Options: The high resolution colour touch screen provides 480 x 272 resolution and 24-bit colour, with six in-built themes for different colours & styles of display: CLASSIC, SPORT, NEON, TUNER, NIGHT & METAL.

It has a unique gauge skin system allowing you to make your own "dashboard" & change the original themes. You can create several different gauge pages, and switch between them easily. This skin software supports alpha blending to use graphics containing transparency areas. You can design pages including analog round gauges, digital text boxes, graphs, and more.

Data Information Display:
- Display sensor data directly from the factory computer in your car (MUST BE OBDII COMPLIANT)
- View much more information than available on the cars factory gauges
- Connect to 3rd part sensors, race acquisition systems and stand-alone ECU's.

Flight Data Recorder:
- Shows information on gauges in "Real-Time".
- Record up to 2GB of data on memory card (OPTIONAL).
- Playback and analyse data.

Measurement Tool:
- Measure 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile and 0-60 times!
- Calculate Horsepower and Torque!
- Display MPG statistics & MPG use!
- Capture "Trip Driving" data!

Diagnostics Tool:: The Gauge can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and if found, can display the Trouble Codes themselves. Using the internet or repair manuals, these can be translated to the failed component and repairs made. Data captured when the Trouble Code was set can be recalled to help troubleshoot the problems;
- Find out why your check-light is on!
- Read and clear diagnostic codes (DTC's)!
- View sensor data to determine which parts may be defective!

How to find the OBD2 (OBDII) connector: This should be located within 1 meter of the steering column, usually under the dash to the right or left of the column. Sometimes it will have a cover over its face. Other locations are under the dash, passenger side under dash, behind the ash tray and rarely, under the ash tray in the back seat armrest.
