OBD2 Head-up-Display (HUD)

This Mult-Function Head-up-Display (HUD) plugs directly into your vehicle OBD2 port to relect a host of vital engine data directly onto the windscreen from the dashboard - JUST AS IN THE LATEST TOP OF THE RANGE BMW (M5) & MERCEDES SPORTS CARS, and shows the driver the following information:

- Speed (SPD): Shown in RED
- Revs Per Minute (RPM): Shown in RED
- Miles Per Gallon (MPG): Shown in RED
- Selectable Display Value: Projected in BRIGHT GREEN
- Engine Performance Indicator: Bar graph display in INCREASING COLOUR RANGE
- Speed Limit Display (Selectable): THE ICON LIGHTS UP & ALSO SOUNDS AN AUDIBLE WARNING!
- Low Battery Warning: Numeric Display shows voltage when icon lit.
- Temperature Abnormal Alert: Numeric Display shows engine coolant temperature when icon lit
- Throttle Position: Numeric Display shows throttle position ratio when lit.

The HUD unit itself is very neat & compact (dimensions below) & available in two versions:
1. Head-up-Display ONLY (HUD)
2. Head-up-Display incorporating a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)!

The TPMS comes with easy fit components to allow the HUD to further show the driver any warning in Tyre Pressure. By pre-setting the recommended tyre pressure threshold, each individual "TYRE ICON" will warn if a tyre is over inflated, deflated or over temperature. This TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring Warning) is achieved by RF (Radio Frequency) valve sensors fitted externally to each valve, & locked in place with the special tools to avoid tampering. So there is no need to remove the tyres for fitting, & the internal batteries are quick & easy to change.

Your vehicle must be OBDII/EOBD compatible. In Europe, EOBD was phased in between 2002-04 & from 1996 in the USA/Canada. Look at the under bonnet emission stickers to see if it says OBD2 or OBD II on your car. NB: MAY NOT WORK IF ORIGINAL ECU HAS BEEN UPGRADED OR ALTERED FROM THE MANUFACTURERS ORIGINAL!

PLEASE NOTE: Because there are several various OBD2 Protocols that vehicle manufacturers use, not only is it important that you first establish your vehicle is OBD2 Compliant, but you must also state the Make, Model & Year of you vehicle below, to assist us in providing the right HUD with the correct Protocol for your car!
