ScanGaugeII Fuel Trip Computer & Diagnostic Gauge
A compact computer that reads & displays data about your vehicle in real time. Measuring 4.8" (120mm) x 1.5" (38 mm) x 1.0" (25 mm) just "plug & play" into the OBD11 port, turn the ignition on & it automatically connects to the internal computer, AND CAN BE ADJUSTED TO SEVEN DIFFERENT SCREEN COLOURS!

**Your vehicle MUST BE OBDII/EOBD compatible: Introduced in 1996 for the USA/Canada & phased in from 2002 (petrol) & 2004 (diesel) in Europe, although may work on some petrol cars built 2000 or earlier. Look at your cars under bonnet emission stickers to see it says OBD2 /OBD II, or check with your dealer. Locate the OBD2 connector: This should be within 1 meter of the steering column, usually under the dash to the right or left. Sometimes it will have a cover over its face. Other locations are under the dash, passenger side under dash, behind the ash tray and rarely, under the ash tray in the rear armrest.

It has 10 memories to store an OBDII command. It uses "Flash" type memory which doesn’t require power or a battery, so it can be changed as often as you like or keep it as long as you want, even if unplugged, & can display up to 4 of 12 possible data parameters at one time:-

You can enter price paid per gallon/liter to calculate the cost. This will come up as a Cost Per Mile gauge. In your trip functions you can view the cost of the current, yesterday's and total tank fuel cost. The CURRENT trip computer & RESET capability can help smooth out throttle variation over longer distances.

Scan Tool: It can check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) & if found, it can display them. Using the internet or repair manuals, these can be translated to the failed component and repairs made. Data captured when the Trouble Code was set can help troubleshoot problems & be used to clear the trouble codes and data which will turn off the warning check-light (Check Engine, Service Engine soon, etc.).
