TERMS AND CONDITIONS About Us: Auto Caress is a Ltd company registered with Companies House in the UK. Our online store, Autocaress.co.uk supplies niche driving aids & automotive accessories that use the latest technology, and are unusual and difficult to source.

Making A Purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items you wish to buy into the shopping cart. When finished, click 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete the order. We accept credit card payment & those cards accepted for making payment are shown clearly on our home page, & also in the "Credit Card Security" section further on. If you are shopping from North America, The EU or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars, Euros or your own currency.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Goods within the UK & Europe are sent by the Royal Mail/Parcel Force on a Next Day Service. In the event of any strike action by the Royal Mail, we will use an alternative courier: Business Post or DHL.
The cost for packaging & carriage is:
1. UK mainland, excluding the Scottish Highlands & Isles, the Isle of Man & Isle of Wight per order up to 20kg- £5.95 .
2. Scottish Highlands & Isles, the Isle of Man & Isle of Wigh, Northern Ireland, Eire and The Channel Isles per order up to 20kg - £11.95. This is necessary due to the onward cost of shipping beyond the UK mainland.
3. Europe for orders up to 2kg ONLY - £6.95 .
4. All other World destinations are charged at a flat rate of between £16.00 and £20.00 depending on destination, for items up to a maximum of 2kg ONLY, and send by Royal Mail International Air Mail.
NB: All products available to International customers at this 2kg weight limit can be purchase automatically on line, & will be indicated by the message "Available Internationally by Air Mail". All other products above 2kg will show a"warning" message if your postal address is outside the UK, & require a individual shipping quotation based on country location, for which an e-mail request will be first required so we may achieve the best flight rate.
5. All costs for packing & carriage are shown net of Vat. Vat will be added at the applicable rate; currently 17.5% for all appropriate Vat rated countries. For all other countries the net price will be shown.

PLEASE NOTE: When you make a purchase the default carriage price will show. Under Shipping & Handling you will be asked to select the appropriate carriage rate, from a "drop down" facility, for your shipping address in "Class of Service". You may also select to "nominate own courier/Collect yourself".
Delivery Schedule Most orders are fulfilled & despatched on the working day received, if the order is placed Monday & Friday and received by us before 3.00pm GMT. Orders received after 3.00pm will be processed the next day. Any order received after 3pm on a Friday & by 3pm on Monday, will usually be processed for despatch on Monday. If for any reason we are unable to despatch within these periods, we will e-mail you to confirm this.

BRODIT PROCLIP CUTOM HOLDERS; These orders are usually processed the same working day received. However, due to the individual custom nature of Brodit products some orders may take between 3-7 working days to fulfill, as we have acces to only 70% of the product range at any time. Please allow 7 working days before making any follow-up enquiry about your Brodit Custom Holder designed specifically for a vehicle make/model/year,
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% Vat is added to all goods & carriage as clearly shown. All other orders outside the UK & the EU are VAT free.

Guarantee Unless otherwise stated, all other electronic products have a standard guarantee period of 12 months.

In accordance with EU Distance Selling Regulations for On-Line traders, you have 7 days in which to notify us of your desire to return an unwanted item. in addition, after first notifying us-by email/phone, we are members of SafeBuy which allows you a further 7 days to return the item (14 days total). When returning an item, you should include the provision of insurance, in the event of loss or damage, if you feel appropriate. A full refund will be issued subject to the goods being returned undamaged, in the same condition in which they were received, including all original packaging.
